Spilling the Beans…Finally!

September 21, 2011

Hi friends!  Ryan and I have some exciting news to share…and, being the English teacher nerds that we are, we decided to share the news through—what else—a poem.  See if you can figure it out…

Sophie is gone:

…but the crib is still up:

…someone’s expecting:

…and not with a pup!

We’re no good with secrets:

…and we want to dance and sing:

…if you haven’t guessed by now:

…Baby Weber will be here this spring!!!

I too was waiting for it since I saw the crib up for Sophie, the switch to adding meat, and the ref to the dr appt (and perhaps a lack of alcohol references)! Congrats!

Woo hoo!!!! Congratulations! We’re so so happy for you both! I have to say I’m a little disappointed that you and Ryan won’t be in town for the conference next spring, but this is soooooo much better. I guess you’ll just have to plan a St. Louis trip before Baby W arrives, and then we can come see you guys after the little one is born! Sounds good to me. Let’s make it happen! 🙂

    • September 22, 2011 12:03 am

I know!!! I’m so sad that we won’t be there for the conference!!! But yes, we definitely need to plan a trip to St. Louis before the baby comes. We’ll start looking at dates!!

AAHHHH!!!!! Congrats! 🙂 I’m so excited for you guys.

It crossed my mind that you may be at one point- I was confused as to why you would purchase a crib for Sophie to use while visiting- that’s what pack n plays are for 😉

    • September 22, 2011 7:17 pm

Thank you, Katie!! Ha, you know– we actually bought that crib LAST year for Sophie’s visit, when we weren’t even thinking about having a baby soon! We just figured we’d need it eventually…and we were right 🙂

Although now that I think about it…we totally should have just bought a pack n’ play 🙂
