Out with the old hair…

August 3, 2011

…and in with the new!

Today, I chopped off a LOT of my hair.  I don’t think I’d had a haircut since last summer.  Truth.  It felt good to get such a drastic cut—new town, new house, new hair! I think the short cut is also going to be MUCH nicer with the Alabama heat…although my ponytail is much shorter now!

After an afternoon of errand-running and a trip to campus (class starts in two weeks—eek!!!), we came home for a pasta dinner:

Leftover grilled salmon, leftover grilled asparagus, and grape tomatoes with pasta and olive oil.  Simple…and simply delicious!

Tomorrow, we’re going to check out the Huntsville farmers’ market…I’m excited to see what we’ll find there!

Good afternoon, good evening and goodnight!

It looks GREAT!! Actually, I love that you did this because I’ve been going back and forth about whether or not I want to get bangs (which for me wold be drastic!) and I think I’m going to do it 🙂

Welcome to Alabama! I live in Montgomery, but haven’t explored Huntsville yet–it looks like it might be worth a visit. I just got my before-school starts haircut, too, and it feels so much lighter in this heat. Yours looks great!

The Huntsville Farmers market has been small the past few times I went, but make sure you make it on the 2nd to last Thursday of the month for the art stroll in down town in conjunction to the farmers market. There is another farmers market on Saturday mornings in Madison, I have not had the opportunity to visit though.

New place, new hair–it looks terrific!!

    The cut is great!

I think this is what I miss most about gluten pasta. GLuten free pasta needs a bit more dress up to be tasty. Le sigh.

    Love the new cut!

You looks cute, Anna! You’re also gonna save some $$ from the shampoo…now that I’ve got longer hair, I find myself running out of shampoo so fast.

You made me SO excited for my hair cut today! I don’t think I’m going that short, it looks so amazing on you! 🙂

Love the new hairdo!! Memaw was over here this morning and I was going to show her the pictures of your new house, and lo and behold, there was a new hairdo, as well!! She enjoyed getting to see the blog, and we agreed that your hair is precious!

I love the hair Anna!!! It looks great! Whenever my hair gets long I find myself just pulling it back all the time and I know it’s time to chop it off.
