Swim, Sun, and Sophie Rose

April 23, 2011

Happy Saturday!

When I left you yesterday, we were about to hang out by the pool…and that’s exactly what we did!

Last summer, Sophie was a little iffy when it came to the pool…but this summer, she’s all about it! She started out in the big pool:

…and then she transitioned to one that was more her size:

Here are just a *few* of the pictures I took:

Haha…just a few. I can’t help it that the kid’s photogenic!  She was kind of rockin’ a Nicholas Cage look by the end of the afternoon.

After our relaxing day by the pool, we had another grilled dinner last night.  This time, burgers were on the menu:

Plus okra, roasted in the oven with olive oil and Cajun seasoning:

Plus tots:

Ryan got in right on time last night, and today, we’re headed out to the lake for a family Easter tradition: a crawfish boil! I’ll take lots of pics!

Hope you have a great Saturday!
