Stopping By Woods

December 30, 2010

…on a snowy evening morning.  Close enough.  🙂

Our entire world was turned into a snowy, peaceful winter wonderland overnight, so Ryan and I decided to go on a long walk this morning to enjoy the snow while it lasts.  Ryan’s parents live right near a nature preserve, so we bundled up and headed out:

Here are some pictures from our morning walk:

Ahh, snow.  I love you the first few times you grace us with your presence.  But please don’t feel the need to hang around through March this year, mmmmm kay?

When we got back from our walk, we helped ourselves to some of my mother-in-law’s awesome tortellini and bean salad for lunch.  Patti made this last year and I LOVED it, so I was very excited to see a big batch of it in the refrigerator again this year!

Yum! Off to go run a few errands, and then we’re going out with Ryan’s sister and her husband tonight for dinner at a wine bar!

Hope you’re having a great New Year’s Eve Eve!

Gorgeous. I agree about the snow- it’s only okay until February. March should be in the 50s, in my opinion!!
