On my To Do list:

Conference with students

Grade 50 research papers

Grade 20 creative writing portfolios

Comment in online classroom discussion forums

Clean house for house guest arriving on Friday (!!!)

Address and mail out Christmas cards

Start and finish Christmas shopping

etc., etc., etc.

Absolutely NOT on my To Do list:

Bake sugar cookies in owl nightgown and fake Target Uggs. 

And yet…

Sometimes I find the best ways to procrastinate.  Join me, won’t you? Next, I’ll be watching a Lifetime Christmas movie marathon while pointedly ignoring the ungraded pile of papers next to me.  If you want, I can lend you one of my flannel nightshirts…

    I’m supposed to be
    1. Cleaning up after my soup-capades in the kitchen
    2. Hand washing my coffee mugs (HA! right…)
    3. Cleaning, vaccuming, laundy… domestic crap
    4. Running a zillion Errands
    5. Revising ze resume
    6. Deciding on my final top 3 for my internship
    7. so much other crap….

    and yes, i’m watching HGTV and procrastinating like a mofo. so yes, I will join you =) haha. procrastination does love company!

    And then next time I’m in the area, I’ll totally join you for cookies and Christmas movies in flannel nightgowns and knock-off Uggs. Sounds AWESOME.

    HOLY CRAP…I totally use baking as a procrastination technique! It works…sometimes! The cookies look perfect!

    You’re too cute! Those PJ’s are awesome! 50 research papers!? Yuck! I hope my new students only have tests, but I imagine not. I’m going to check the syllabus now, you have my wondering!! Oh, and the sugar cookies look well worth the procrastination ;0)

    Can I just say how ADORABLE and awesome you look! I love the owl print!!!!! I used to have a diaper bag/mommy stash bag for Skylar in owl print AND i have knockoff uggs. I LOVE these pics of you!

    And the cookies look awesome, of course πŸ™‚

    Haha, I can totally relate. With finals coming up, it’s interesting that the amount of baked goods I’ve been making has significantly increased!
