A little Greek, a little Country

October 14, 2010

Hey guys! Last night, I headed over to Emily’s house to join some girlfriends for dinner and a movie, Paul and Annabelle style (did anyone else used to watch that show?).

Greek takeout was on the menu.  I enjoyed a large Greek salad with hummus and pita on the side:

We also had our choice of two desserts: homemade chocolate chip cookies, plus a homemade apple cake:

Why choose when you can have both?

We chatted for a good two hours before getting to the movie: Crazyheart.  Y’all know how I love Jeff Bridges.

If loving Bad Blake is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.

It is rainy, cold, and gross here today.  Bleh.  This would be the perfect day to stay home and read in bed all day…but teaching calls!

Have a great Thursday!

I love girls nights in – had one last night with my friends too! My MIL makes a mean apple cake – I can eat it morning, noon and night. Your desserts looks irresistible!

I often wonder what Paul and Annabelle are up to! Why aren’t they in Us Weekly?

Gosh, didn’t the end of that movie drive you crazy though??!!

I love a good Greek salad. Yum. Sometimes they’re hard to find though. I hate it when I end up with one that is nothing but iceberg lettuce, plain black olives and some feta.

Ah Jeff! The film’s been in cinemas for.. a week or so over here. I never got to see it!
I was so happy for him when he got the Oscar 🙂

Definitely would have gone for both the chocolate chip cookies AND the apple cake. Having to choose is never any fun and just causes unnecessary stress. 😉

Crazy Heart was such a good movie! Jeff Bridges is pretty sexy for his age.
