Fun Time, No Blog

August 23, 2010

Hello, hello! Long time, no see! We got back from Seattle around 9:00 last night.  It was a whirlwind trip, but a great time!

I know I was a bad blogger on this trip…but we literally didn’t have a minute to spare! We were trying to get as much family and friend time in as possible.  Here are some of the highlights:

Yes, Jessica, that is a bacon donut.  I didn’t have any (obviously), but word on the streets was that they were pretty tasty.  :-)

It was a great trip!

It’s finally starting to sink in that I’ll be teaching tomorrow.  Ack! I have to make copies of my syllabi, check on my books in the bookstore, buy some *school supplies*…gotta get to it!  See you soon!

As a Classicist, I am SO happy you use the word syllabi. Then again, I wouldn’t expect anything less from you 🙂

The word “syllabuses” sends shivers down my spine.

Ah I hope you had a good time too!
I know it’s so hard to write posts when you’re on a trip – there’s just so much stuff to do! I am glad to catch up with a few blogs though.. I really missed them!

Oooh a bacon doughnut! That looks amazing! As does the whole doughnut tree. Is that a Northwest thing?

Haha, I don’t think so– I think it was pretty unique to this wedding!
