Goodbye, Nantucket

Yesterday, we had a great final day on the island. 

We explored:

Delicious!

Well…my pants are tight, my face is sunburned, our dogs smell, our clothes are dirty, we have sand in places we shouldn’t…it’s time to go home!

    I can’t believe it’s time for you to go! We miss you already, and you aren’t even gone yet! Dad and I will try to carry on for our last week without our darling girls and their husbands and families – wish it could last forever!

    The beach looks so yellow in the picture. I like it.

    I need to fly a kite, but it isn’t as cool at West Lafayette.

    Just looking at these pictures makes me feel like I’m in a Nicholas Sparks novel. haha. All of his books are set in Nantucket! The place looks gorgeous (I’ve never been). Thanks for sharing your pictures, and have a safe trip home!
