Easy Stir Fry

June 1, 2010

I assume it was easy to cook, anyway.  I wasn’t the one cooking it:

Ryan cooked dinner for us while I showered.  In fact, he insisted on it…I think he was trying to tell me something about my body odor, but whatever—I’ll take time away from the stove any way I can get it!  Thanks, baby!

We used up the last of our veggies, and now only have a sad little bag of cilantro left.  Not sure what lunch will be tomorrow, but we’ll figure it out!  Our flight doesn’t leave until mid-afternoon, so I’ll still be posting lunch before we go.  Our flight to Europe from Philly is at 6:00, so I assume we’ll be getting some sort of dinner on the plane. In my experience, airplane food is either really good or really bad.  Usually the latter.  We’ll see how it goes.

With all the packing that’s been going on, Ella is definitely aware that something is up:

I keep telling her that she’s going away to summer camp, but she doesn’t believe me.

We’re about to go meet our friends Lee and Steve for drinks and watermelon at their house.  I’m so sad—we live only one street over from them, but they just bought a house about 15 minutes away, and they’re moving in August.  :-(  I know we’ll still see them, but I really liked having them as neighbors!  Oh well…maybe they’ll sell the house to another young, fun couple!

On a completely unrelated note, we are STILL using the cocktail napkins from our wedding, over a year ago:

I think they’re fornicating in the pantry, because they really do seem to be multiplying.

Guess I’ll leave you with the image of fornicating napkins.  See you tomorrow!
