When They Say Spicy…

May 14, 2010

…they mean spicy!

Whew! For dinner tonight, me, my dad, and Ryan were on our own, so we ordered some take-out from a small Vietnamese/Thai restaurant that my parents love.

For my entree, I ordered the spicy basil Tofu, and MAN was it spicy!  Lol.  My whole mouth was burning…but in a good way (twss?).

I also had some of Ryan’s Thai noodles, which I basically used to cool off my raging, burning mouth.

My fortune was another non-fortune.  I hate that!

We just took the dogs for a long walk.  My parents have two dogs, so there has been a lot of dog food available around the house, and we’re pretty sure that Baxter ate about 5 meals today.  He’s looking a little thick in the middle!

Now we’re settling in for some must see TV.

Have a great night!

Thai food is one of my favorite things on the planet! I have to agree with you on the nonfortunes. Someone in the cookie department has been doing some serious slacking

I have NEVER had Thai in my life. It looks good!! Is it just like chinese food?

This looks great! I always ask for my Thai/Indian/etc extra-spicy. The place near me has 6 levels of spice, including “mild” “spicy” “Thai mild” and “Thai spicy.” haha

mmm, I LOVE truly spicy food! As long as it’s not so spicy that I can’t enjoy it (it takes a lot for that to happen). And I agree with you about “fortunes” these days. They aren’t always a fortune!! Lame. When I was young they were always fortunes, and fun ones at that.

    Have a great weekend!

I love spicy foods. Sometimes you never really know if they’re serious or not at the restaurants. Sounds like they were huh?!

I LOVE Vietnamese! Asian food is always so great to order because it never tastes the same when you make it at home.

I love Thai food when I’m in the mood for something spicy…hot foods are tough to cook well at home, so I always eat out if I’m craving it!
