Catching Up
Good morning! Hope your week is off to a good start!
Monday is my long day, so it feels good to have that one under my belt. Yesterday’s eats were pretty simple:
Egg salad (which I just HAD to have after seeing it on Katie’s blog) for lunch, plus an easy dinner of steak and potatoes that Ryan had waiting when I got home from teaching around 8:30.
This morning, I’m keeping things Valentine’s-themed:
…with this simple pink smoothie—almond milk, strawberries, and vanilla protein powder. Basically, this tastes like a strawberry milkshake. What’s not to love?
Well, I think we’re going to go to the gym this morning, and then I have my fiction class tonight. I brought my poetry class cookies last night, so I suppose I need to do something for the fiction class too. Maybe some baking is in order…

I love when healthy smoothies taste like milkshakes! That one sounds like a keep.
The smoothie looks great, yum! I’ve become a fan of Garden of Life’s Raw Vanilla Protein in my smoothies too lately because it tastes very dessert-like.
