Back In It
Only a few weeks ago, I was telling my sister that, since giving birth in April, the urge to run hadn’t really hit me—and I thought it might not hit again for a long, long time, if ever.
Well, it’s back.
Running is a funny thing. I don’t think it’s the best exercise for weight loss. I don’t think it’s the best exercise for maintaining a young body, or even a healthy one.
But DANG does it feel good. I hopped off that treadmill at the gym yesterday feeling noodle-y, proud, and completely de-stressed.
Last night, we made an easy stir-fry for dinner. Yesterday, I discovered that our Target now carries the full line of Gardein products—yum! I *try* to stay away from faux meats—not because I don’t like them (HELLO soy nuggets), but because I know they’re not the best for you. But, I think that of all the faux meat products out there, Gardein makes some of the best—real ingredients without filler that actually taste really, really good.
