Showered With Love
Hi friends! Time for another weekend catch-up…where did the weekend go?!?
Ours went to…Louisiana! On Friday, Ryan and I headed to Shreveport for the weekend. My baby shower was on Saturday, and was wonderful—just what I wanted. It was so nice to see close friends and family…especially since word on the street is that you’re pretty much quarantined to your house for at least the first few weeks after giving birth.
On Saturday night, we split up. Ryan hung out with my family—they had plans to go to the Mardi Gras parade, but it was FREEZING—27 degrees, which is bitter cold for Louisiana! They decided against it and ordered in Thai food instead. 
I headed to my friend Ellen’s for dinner and a movie.
And before we knew it, the weekend was over. 
It was strange to think about how the next time I see all of those people, I should have a baby with me!! Crazy!
I didn’t take many pictures over the weekend, shower or food-wise, but Ryan snapped these cute shots of Sophie giving Lila a little cousin love:
When you point to my belly and ask Sophie what’s in it, she says, “Baby!!” So sweet. I think she’ll be a little less excited when she figures out that the baby in my belly is going to be sharing her grandparents with her.
