Blogger Friend!
Hey guys! Sorry for the late lunch post; it’s been a busy day around here! I worked out this morning (treadmill + “Abs solution DVD”), showered, ran an errand with Ryan, and then headed over to Panera to meet up with Ashley for my first blog meet-up!
I was a little nervous—it was kind of like going on a blind date or something!
But, as soon as I spotted Ashley and we sat down to lunch, we hit it off right away! We had so much to talk about, and had lots of fun discussing “blog issues”…we definitely see eye-to-eye about a lot of the positive (and negative) aspects of the blog world. It was so fun to go to lunch with someone who also blogs—sometimes as a blogger, I feel like I’m fluent in some language that no one else gets…then suddenly you get to go to lunch with someone who speaks the same language as you!
At Panera, I got a big bowl of hot vegetable soup, plus a piece of multi-grain bread. The soup really hit the spot on this cold, winter day.

We met at noon, and before we knew it, the clock read 1:15! Ashley needed to get back to work, and I had an appointment to take Ella to the vet (she’s been limping ever since our trip to the park on Wednesday, but the vet checked her out and said that everything seems to be A-OK.), so we parted ways, with plans to meet up again for lunch or drinks in the near future! So glad I finally found a blog friend in the real world!
My lunch was delicious, but it didn’t hold me over that well—I’m currently snacking on a Kashi pumpkin pie bar (my last one in the box
). Not sure what the rest of the day holds…it would be smart to get some work done for my online classes…but it would be more fun to go to the mall and look for a birthday gift that I could exchange my necklace for!
This has nothing do with anything, but check out Baxter in the big box that our wedding registry gifts came in:
His wagging tail was making the packing popcorn fly!
See you for dinner, folks!

hahaha baxter’s such a cutie pie!
I’ve read that the de-icing chemicals on the roads and sidewalks can hurt dog’s paws… maybe that’s it? Anyway, I hope Ella’s better!
That sounds so fun! I have a blogger meet up for once coming up and I can’t wait
Fun!!! I am so envious!! I want to have a blogger meet up! You are totally RIGHT about the blog world. Some of my friends just don’t get it and I would love to dish with someone who shares in it!
