Birthday Breakfast in Bed
Good morning! Surprised to see me?
I reserve breakfast posts for “special occasion” breakfasts, and this was a special occasion breakfast indeed!
Around 7, the alarm went off and Ryan shot out of bed, so I knew something was up…can’t slip anything by me. 
I heard him banging around downstairs, so I figured there *just might* be a special birthday breakfast on its way.
Right I was!
Breakfast in bed:

Yum! Vegan buckwheat pancakes with maple syrup, almond granola with blueberry soy yogurt, fresh fruit, oj and coffee. What more could a birthday girl want?
Oh yeah. Presents. 
I was SUPER excited to open this gift from the dogs:
Wheeeee! A juicer!!! Can’t wait to give it a try! Dogs, you shouldn’t have!

I guess 27 is the magical age where you’re suddenly old enough to start receiving face lift birthday cards. Joy.
Ryan got me a beautiful necklace…buttttttt, I’m kind of hard to shop for. I think we might go back to the mall today and take a look around at some other stuff. I feel bad—but he knows me! I’m a chronic gift-returner. Before I even opened my present, he said, “We can return it if you want to look at other things.” My husband gets me.
Along with the juicer, the dogs got me a 2010 Cattledog Calendar…such thoughtful creatures!

I can’t believe it was 27 years ago when you woke me in the middle of the night, to go to the hospital – what a great 27 years they have been!! Call me when you get time. We love you!!!

You will love that Juicer… I have had mine for 4 years and I use it everyday and Love it.
Ugh, hate the “It’s nice” reaction. Its always better to speak up then to not wear it, though I never take my own advice. I hope you use your juicer more than I use mine, which is never once.

We have a juicer but NEVER use it. How awful is that?
