Chips and Fries and Ice Cream, Oh My!

January 16, 2010

Good evening, friends!  Happy Friday night!

Remember when Friday nights meant sleepovers, movies (Troop Beverly Hills, anyone?), and lots and LOTS of junk food?

I guess the more things change, the more they stay the same.

We’ve got a sleepover:

…a movie:

…and of course, lots of “junk” food, like chips:

…fries:

…and delicious, delicious ice cream…errr, non-dairy frozen dessert:

Of course, I don’t remember any of those Friday nights involving tofu…but hey, you have to grow up sometime:

Now all we have to do is play “Light as a feather, stiff as a board.”  Better not put Baxter’s paw in a cup of warm water—he has enough problems already!

Hope your Friday night is full of fun and games!

See you tomorrow, kiddos!

Hey Anna! I’m so glad you found my blog. I am actually in Altoona, too! I did not know there were other food bloggers in my area; how exciting!

How’s the cookie dough in that ice cream? I know the one in the snickerdoodle is amazing but I’m guessing it’s a bit different

i hope you liked the film – i thought it was pretty good; i was very impressed with both actresses’ performances. my husband, however, refuses to see it b/c he’s a big fan of the documentary.

I really liked it, and I was weary of it because, like your husband, I’m a big fan of the documentary. I thought Drew Barrymore (who actually tends to get on my nerves in films) did a great job. I liked how they covered so much of the back history, rather than focusing on the documentary.

hahah I totally played light as a feather stiff as a board with my friends growing up. And scared myself with the ouija board. Yikes.

Oooh my god, I loved Troop Beverly Hills! Seriously, one of my favorite childhood movies. I need to get that because I’m sure it will stand the test of time and go down in history as a great movie classic. ;-)

I want to be invited to YOUR house for dinner! Those ‘chips’, the ice-cream and the delicious looking tofu. You made such a tasty dinner, I’m hungry!
